I haven't seen any of the previews for the upcoming 24 season yet, it will be interesting to see how they portray a female president, and how a female president will be portrayed in handling issues of her presidency. We may not need to look back too far, in case you haven't seen Battlestar Galactica with a female president (she was portrayed in a favorable light). In real life, if the mark of being a president is failure, perhaps the female will fail more gracefully. Biblically, I'm not sure about wanting to serve under a female leader (maybe the history of Jezebel and Ahab will serve us as a good reminder from Israel's past).

How's the land of Pittsburgh? I'm an East Coast veteran, having lived most of my life (so far) in New York. I've been through Pennsylvania several times, and at least once through Pittsburgh. Wish I had known where to stay at the time . . . probably an interesting city to check out.

T, I went to the show Thursday night here in Seattle. What a blast! They did every song I hoped they would. it was really cool to see several generations there. My wife and I brought our son and daughter, 15 & 12. They loved it. You'll have a great time. The opening act was a trio that sounded similar... come to find out, the lead singer and bass player is Sting's son, Joe Sumner.
Would love to hear about missional worship...

As a kid from an hour north of Harrisburg I wouldn't mind seeing a Steelers/Cowboys matchup. It's fun to be a fan in enemy territory. ;)
