The food for starters, lol.
I've spent time in the south of France and it's absolutely beautiful. I drove from Italy along the coast down to Nice and I drove from Spain up the coast to Couliere. I still have the middle chunk to hit (quick stop in St Tropez maybe?) and I will have completed the entire coastal region. I love the landscape, the countryside, the people and just about everything but the stone beaches, but you get used to it. The people are festive and passionate and you will simply never want to eat anywhere else. Oh yeah...the wines are outstanding and it's easy to have a cigarette wherever you wish. (Yeah...I still smoke).
