The Real Goal?

I've been reading some blogs lately, and listening to some conversations amongst Christians, and I repeatedly hear a phrase similar to this: "We need to win people to Christ", or "we need to lead people to Christ".

Here's my question: is that the goal? Is it to "lead people to Christ", or should it be to "lead people into God's mission for this world"? The mission is obviously based on what God did in Christ, but do we have the wrong end-goal in mind? My opinion, and this is from exp

Sopranos Ending - Thoughts and Living the Journey

After my initial "What was that???" at the ending, I now see it as a brillantly done ending. My theory for the past two days has been that when everything went black and silent, it was us the audience that got "whacked", out of the life of the Soprano family. For six seasons, we had a peek into the life of this family, and then our peek was ended. Life goes on for us (without them), and life goes on for them.
