Retired from bank 5years ago, decided to explore my faith, worked 5years with NHS hospital parttime in the cash office, finished there a month ago to join the Pastoral Care Team at Paisley Methodist Church (2days voluntry), having completed the Pastoral Carers Course with Wesley College Bristol.

I'm Married to John , have one son and two grandsons whom I watch on a Tuesday.

Yes I have been very interested/challenged/taken with a lot of Brian Mclaren's ideas in the new kind of Christian books. I am workign my way through the third one again which says a lot about what the nature of hell might or might not be ( though I think he says it is really about the nature of God)- very different to what I was brought up to believe....but a lot makes sense. When one of our group shared that she was concerned that if she registered with facebook she might spend too much time there I needed to find an alternative for us to get started. Our conversations in the cityofdreams are the priority and will be closed to the rest of M, who will only be able to join by invitation. Looking around the rest of M is a bonus that you are welcome to take up.
