You know who you are

Why don't we start by everyone sharing what your top 5 signature themes are and then just saying what your initial reaction to getting your results was?

(I realise that's 6, but I've taken it a few times and those 6 have consistently shown up!)

My initial reaction was, "wow, that's me!". It felt like reading a biography. It wasn't that every line of all the paragraphs 100% resonated, but a significant number of them did. I then gave the descriptions to my wife, Rachel, and she was like, "that's SO you!". So yeah, pretty much it nailed me!

ok, not sure if I am replying to the discussion correctly but lets give it a try, once I hit enter we shall see...
Futeristic, Arranger, Connectiveness, Communication and Woo....

Just as others have said "this explains a lot". I can see these in my life from childhood so clearly, now it helps me to focus better on living in the creation that I am.

Oh...this is the futurist in me but those folks at Mosaic are pure innovators, Mosaic in LA has been doing this Strenght Finder for several years now and Oprah has finally caught on...here Sept issue has an article with Marcus Buckinham consulting with a women on her next career...

I think Arranger was the most interesting - since I knew that about myself but never heard or read it articulated so well. The others were mostly right on.

Ooh...a positivity/woo combination too. Ryan on our team has that. Makes him very energising to be around!

Hi Sam,

Thanks for inviting me into this. Here's my list:

Futuristic
Self-Assurance
Ideation
Learner
Responsibility
(Relator)
(Belief)

Those in brackets came out in a second SF I went through - version 2.0 - which I took because I wanted to see how it ties up the talents within the strengths themes meaning that there are more accurate descriptions provided.

I felt the descriptions were very much me and quite changed the way I think about myself: I seek to live my life differently now.

Input
Learner
Competition
Belief
Futuristic

My first reaction was that it sounded like me. It helped me see how being competitive can be a good thing in ministry and not just a negative.

wholeheartedly confirmed on ethos, Sam.

I'm Dean (shaman) and i just happen to know my top 7 ...

connectedness, ideation, input, strategic, futuristic, learner, individualization

my first reaction was "finally, a crystal ball that works!"

It seemed like each thing described a potential strength but it didn't make too much sense right off the bat. Strengths Finder was very new to me. It's taken some time to piece things together to help see it as a whole, as something that really does describe me.

I helped me see why I had gotten frustrated with my work environment in the past....and is having a huge impact in how I shape my current environment. I just wish I had learned it 10 years ago.

Hey all, This was the first time for me. I attended a Yelo conference in Seattle a month ago.

Woo,Futuristic, Positivity, Communication, Activator

No real suprises there, but it was a bit of an eyeopener. About 10 of us went. I don't want that weekend to just end with a "Kool!". I think we are going to put together a small group to learn more and focus on how best to apply our super powers. Has anybody done anything similar?

I just noticed...just about everyone here has Futuristic.
